The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for the following:
- Lead the hiring process for a wide range of roles, including field crews, skilled trades, project managers, engineers, and corporate support.
- Build talent pipelines through job boards, social media, trade schools, career fairs, industry networks, and referrals.
- Promote Ellingson Companies as an employer of choice in construction and engineering through digital content, events, and industry representation.
QUALIFICATIONS (Required or preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–4 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably within construction, engineering, or skilled trades.
- Proven ability to recruit for a variety of roles, from field crews to technical professionals.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting tools.
- Knowledge of labor and employment laws.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Experience building pipelines for skilled trades and construction roles.
- Familiarity with workforce development initiatives and partnerships.
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or other recruiting certifications.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
