About The Role
We are seeking to add a clinical psychologist to our growing clinical testing program with competency in providing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, experience working with a pediatric, adolescent and adult population, and a special interest in Autism and other assessments. The ideal candidate will help set up a program to conduct diagnostic evaluations, evaluate results and deliver treatment recommendations to families as part of a clinically excellent program. Founded in 2015 by two clinicians in Minnesota, Ellie strives to remove many of the daily obstacles and administrative aspects that get in the way of a successful and enjoyable time running your own practice. Ellie prioritizes the clinician’s experience by offering centralized administrative support, excellent compensation, benefits, training, and flexible scheduling. This way our practitioners have more time to focus on what they love – serving clients. We want our people to be happy, because happy therapists do better work and provide better client care!

Responsibilities
- Complete psychological assessments
- Conduct psychosocial evaluations and provides therapeutic interventions as needed to facilitate behavioral health clinical care management.
- Determine an evaluation plan that would address the referral questions, which may include diagnostic questions, treatment recommendations, and/or needs for special education accommodations
- Administer, score, and interpret psychological measures
- Write a thorough testing report to explain the results of the evaluation
- Provide feedback to the client regarding the results of the evaluation, and, if requested, coordinate with other providers to share the testing results
- Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
- Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
- Candidates are required to be licensed and credentialed to practice in the District of Columbia
- Have clinical or counseling Psychology Doctorate from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program and must have completed an APA-approved clinical psychology internship
- Experience with completing psychological evaluations
- Familiarity with working with and/or within school systems and familiarity with the IEP/504
- Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner

- Credentialing under our group contract within 30 to 45 days
