What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant position at Ellettsville Dental Center?
We are a well established privately owned dental practice looking for a Full or Part Time X-Ray certified Dental Assistant to join our team. Dental experience is preferred with x-ray certification. Our office is perfect for someone that is organized, outgoing, kind, and enjoys working with people.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocol
- Prepare patients for dental treatment by welcoming, seating and comforting the patient
- Provide information to patients and colleagues by answering questions and requests
- Provide assistance to the Dr. during patient treatment
- Provide proper sterilization of the instruments
Qualifications:
- X-Ray Certified in Indiana
- Kind and compassionate
- Basic Computer Experience
- Previous dental experience is helpful
- Ability to work four-days a week
- Experience with ortho is a plus
