Safety Specialist – Data Center Projects (Future Opportunities)
📍 Omaha & Lincoln, NE (Project-Based / On-Site)
We’re building a pipeline of experienced safety professionals to support upcoming data center and mission-critical construction projects.
While we don’t have an immediate opening today, we anticipate multiple project needs in the near future and are proactively connecting with strong candidates now.
If you have data center experience and a CHST (or higher), we’d like to get to know you.
What You’ll Do
When engaged on a project, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and high-performing job site. Responsibilities may include:
- Conduct daily safety walks, audits, and hazard assessments
- Lead site orientations and toolbox talks
- Monitor high-risk work (electrical, LOTO, hot work, working at heights, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and client-specific safety requirements
- Partner with project managers, subcontractors, and field teams to proactively address risks
- Investigate incidents and drive corrective actions
- Maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting
What We’re Looking For
- CHST certification (required) – higher certifications a plus
- Experience supporting data center / mission critical projects
- OSHA 30 (Construction)
- Strong field presence and ability to influence crews and leadership
- Ability to operate independently and make real-time decisions on active job sites
- Solid communication skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
