Ellerbee Events is a wedding and event rental company located in Raleigh, NC. We supply an array of rentals to weddings and events including tents, chairs, tables, linens, dinnerware, event lighting, event draping and more. We are passionate about connecting with our clients and creating memorable events!

Duties

We are looking for a reliable, hands on team member to join us part-time to assist with setting up and breaking down events along with cleaning and prepping rentals for upcoming events. This is a physically active role that requires strength and attention to detail.

• Load and unload event rental equipment from truck and trailer.
• Set up and breakdown event setups at various venues.
• Follow setup instructions and work efficiently as part of a team.
• Lift and push/pull heavy (50 lbs) items safely and consistently.
• Represent the company professionally while on-site with clients.
• Cleaning and prepping rentals for upcoming events.

Schedule

Our event schedule varies week to week, this means each week's work schedule will be different. However, our event deliveries are typically done Thursday through Saturday and event breakdowns are done Sundays and Mondays. The associate is not expected to work each day of scheduled events, only the 2-3 busiest days each week along with a day at the warehouse devoted to cleaning and prepping equipment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in event setups or physical labor is preferred but not mandatory.
• Lift and push/pull heavy (50 lbs) items safely and consistently.
• Punctual, dependable, and comfortable working early mornings, weekends and occasional evenings.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to contributing positively to the work environment.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
