Job Summary:

RCS is seeking a compassionate and qualified Temporary Nurse to provide healthcare support to our students and staff. This role is ideal for a licensed nurse who enjoys working with children in an educational setting and is looking for a flexible, part-time schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first aid and basic healthcare to students and staff.
• Administer medications in accordance with school policies and physician instructions.
• Monitor students with chronic conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, allergies) and respond to health concerns.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
• Assist in monitoring and managing communicable diseases and other health concerns.
• Educate students and staff on basic health and wellness practices.
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student health concerns as needed.
• Follow school district policies and state health regulations.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in [State].
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience working with children, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle medical emergencies calmly and efficiently.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Hours: 35-40 hours per week.
• Duration: Temporary position through the end of the school year (5/30/2025)
• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience.
