Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Bucket Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating bucket trucks and other aerial lift equipment to perform essential tree care, landscaping, and maintenance tasks. Duties
- Safely operate bucket trucks and aerial lifts to access trees, power lines, and hard-to-reach areas for trimming, pruning, or maintenance.
- Perform tree care activities including tree trimming, pruning, and removal in accordance with industry standards.
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, planting, mulching, and general landscaping duties.
- Use rigging techniques to secure equipment or debris during tree removal or trimming operations.
- Conduct inspections of equipment before use to ensure safety and proper functioning.
- CDL preferred
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including safety checks, project progress, and equipment usage.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Prior experience operating bucket trucks or aerial lifts in a landscape or tree care setting is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of rigging techniques and safety procedures related to aerial work is essential.
- Growing experience in horticulture, arboriculture, or landscape maintenance is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of tree care practices including pruning, trimming, and removal techniques.
- Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or general gardening enhances your suitability for this role.
