Duties

• Deliver freshly prepared food from the kitchen to tables efficiently, maintaining proper food presentation and temperature.
• Assist servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables quickly to ensure smooth service flow.
• Support food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing dishes and assisting in plating or garnishing.
• Handle food handling responsibilities with strict adherence to food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
• Operate POS system for order accuracy and efficient billing processes.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate timely service delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness in service areas, including clearing trays, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies for optimal efficiency.

Skills

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations.
• Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with Square POS systems enhances efficiency.
• Previous barista, banquet, catering, or hotel experience is a plus for managing diverse service settings.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of culinary practices, food preparation, and guest services contributes to overall excellence.
