Yard Hand - Construction

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Yard Hand/Helper for our fleet and equipment yard to help with general duties such as maintaining a clean workspace, organizing, and inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pressure wash heavy equipment and work trucks
• Inventory small tools, power equipment, and other supplies
• Clear work areas of debris. 
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free job site
• Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment
• Store materials properly to prevent damage or loss
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• -Identify and report potential hazards to supervisors
• Some weekend work required
  

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Be able to use technology such as iPads and tablets
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, etc. 
• Bilingual preferred
• Prior construction experience is a plus
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely lift, move and stack objects up to 100 lbs. 
• Ability to safely set and climb ladders
• Extended periods of standing, bending, and kneeling

Work is performed in shop and outdoor environments year-round, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and other harsh weather. This position is well-suited for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, thrive in team settings, and prioritize safety and quality in every task.
