Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Sorting and processing: Gather soiled laundry from various areas, sort it by color and fabric type, and treat specific stains as needed.
Washing and drying: Operate washing and drying machines, following special instructions for delicate items, and monitor machines to ensure they are functioning correctly.
Finishing: Fold, clean laundry and linens according to facility standards.
Distribution and delivery: Distribute clean laundry and linens to designated areas or residents' rooms and keep an adequate supply of linens on hand.
Maintenance and cleaning: Clean and maintain the laundry area, and perform basic troubleshooting on laundry equipment, reporting any issues to management.
Record keeping: Maintain accurate records of linens and supplies.
