Are you a nursing or medical student looking to gain hands-on experience working in a dynamic and rewarding environment? Elks Camp Moore, a premier summer camp for individuals with special needs and disabilities, is seeking a Health Center Assistant to join our team for the summer 2026 season
What You'll Do
As part of our dedicated Health Center staff, you'll:
- Work directly with our licensed nurses and camp director to ensure compliance with state and national health regulations.
- Assist with administering medications, providing basic first aid, and offering direct care to campers aged 7 to 21.
- Support documentation, preparation of camper medical records, and manage arrival-day procedures.
- Gain hands-on experience with a variety of health care tasks in a camp setting.

- Dates: June 19th – August 29th, 2026
- Location: Elks Camp Moore (residential position required).
- No previous training required—just bring your passion and willingness to learn
- Campers are on-site Sunday afternoon (check-in day) until Saturday morning (check-out day). Flexibility to work a residential camp hours are required. Housing is available as needed.
