Elkhorn Ridge Golf Club in Spearfish, SD is looking for outside service attendants to join our team. We are located on 6845 Saint Onge Rd. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and hard-working. This is a seasonal position, but comes with golf benefits.

Purpose
This position is responsible for assisting the Professional Staff in offering an exceptional golf experience to our members and guests. The Outside Service Assistant will have no supervisory duties but will be integral in many of the day to day operations at the golf facility. Meeting and exceeding the customer service standards of our patrons is the primary focus. This individual will report to the Assistant Pro.
Education and Experience
No formal educational credential
Interest or knowledge in playing golf
Customer service experience
Short-term on-the-job training
Must have a valid driver’s license
Tasks
- Adheres to the club’s mission and vision statements
- Greet customers in person
- Cleans and maintains the golf car fleet
- Keep the cart barn clean and organized
- Pick the driving range daily
- Keep driving range tidy and neat
- Keep golf cars, range balls, and all other amenities stocked for play based on projected play
- Keep area around the clubhouse and Pub clean
- Adheres to the club’s standard procedures for outside service operations
- Represents the club in and outside of club functions
- Adheres to all federal, state and local laws pertaining to safety, health and employment
