High School 4 HS Graduate or GED
Trade School 1-2 Tool & Die Maker
Minimum Amount and Kind of Skills and/or Work Experience Required/Preferred
3-5 years Tool & Die experience required. Must have sharp math skills and effective communication skills. Must have excellent safety ethics.

Essential Functions of Position
- Possesses a complete set of toolmaker skills with shop equipment (Milling, Lathe, Precision O.D I.D grinding, CNC Mill and Lathe, Jig Grinding, Surface Grinding, hand working and polishing dies to print)
- Able to perform machining operation with a specified degree of accuracy and within timely manner.
- Has working knowledge of gages, precision measuring instruments and all necessary inspection equipment.
- Has working knowledge of advance shop mathematics, including trigonometry.
- Standing/walking 100% of shift, bending/twisting 80% of shift, lift/push/pull up to 60 lbs. of tooling and die machine parts
