Position Summary: Provide instruction in the TEKS related to the Academic Assignment mentioned
above, provide instruction in related subject area curriculum, complete and implement
developmentally appropriate materials and programs for students, prepare students for designated
levels of testing, create required assessments and related documents, and perform other duties as
assigned.
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Qualifications: Appropriately Certified for the above-mentioned assignment; must have CDL, or
ability to attain one within the school year, if assigned coaching duties

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate thoroughness, reliability, and a high degree of accuracy in performing work

- Develop and implement plans for assigned curriculum program
- Produce and maintain accurate grading, discipline, and attendance records
- Maintain student confidentiality
- Provide an organized classroom environment conducive to learning at the appropriate level of
- Incorporate the use of technology in lessons when appropriate
- Become knowledgeable of and comply with state, district and campus regulations and
- Cooperate with other staff members in planning and implementing instructional goals and
documents
- Maintain professional relationships with staff members, students, parents, and community
- Perform related duties as assigned, including possible coaching duties
