WORKING FOREMAN
DEPARTMENT: Highway
HIRING RANGE: $28.77-$31.97/hour based on education and position related experience. Longevity pay after 3 years.

POSITION TO BE FILLED: ASAP
HOURS & DAYS OF WORK: 40 hours/week plus overtime as needed for emergency and/or inclement weather conditions; on call on a rotating schedule
LOCATION OF POSITION: Elkhart County Highway Garages including: Goshen, Elkhart or New Paris
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Within County (please fill out driving page on the application)
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for supervising assigned staff, maintaining roadways & adjacent areas, and responding to public complaints.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must have CDL license
- Applicant must be at least 18 years of age
- Leadership and Supervisory skills
- Ability to multitask and manage operational systems
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel preferred
- Pre-employment background check and drug screen
