What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofessional - Instructional position at Elkhart Community Schools?
Schedule: 6.5 hours per day; 188 days per year.
Qualifications: College transcripts showing a minimum of 48 hours of earned college credit, or obtained an associate's degree (or higher), or met a rigorous standard of quality and can demonstrate through a formal State or local assessment (Para Pro Assessment Test); (a) knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing and mathematics or (b) knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing reading readiness, as appropriate; sensitivity toward needs of English Language Learners. Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position.
