Role Description The Therapist is a full-time, hybrid role based in Owings Mills, MD, with flexibility for some work-from-home scheduling. In this role, the Therapist provides individual and, as appropriate, group counseling and psychotherapy using evidence-based approaches aligned with client needs and treatment goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting intake assessments, developing treatment plans, maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, and coordinating care with other providers as needed. The Therapist will monitor client progress, adjust interventions, and offer psychoeducation and resources that support mental health and overall wellness. The role also involves participation in case consultations, supervision or peer review, and ongoing professional development to maintain licensure and stay current with best practices.

Qualifications

• Licensed or license-eligible mental health professional (e.g., LCPC, LCSW-C, LMFT, Psychologist) in the state of Maryland.
• Master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
• Demonstrated experience providing individual therapy and counseling, preferably in outpatient or community mental health settings.
• Strong skills in assessment, treatment planning, and use of evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, person-centered, trauma-informed care).
• Ability to maintain thorough, accurate clinical records and comply with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
• Comfort working in a hybrid environment, managing both in-person and virtual sessions in a professional, confidential manner.
• Commitment to culturally responsive care, respect for client autonomy, and a nonjudgmental, inclusive therapeutic approach.
• Organizational and time-management skills to balance caseload, documentation, and collaboration with colleagues.
• Willingness to engage in continuing education, supervision, and training to enhance clinical skills and maintain licensure.
• Pay rates start at $50 hourly based on license and experience.
