We’re looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Pastry and Food Production Assistant to join our team. In this role, you’ll be hands-on with cake decorating, food preparation, and packaging, ensuring our baked goods are both beautiful and tasty. Duties
- Decorate cakes and pastries with precision, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Prepare a variety of baked goods and food items following established recipes and standards.
- Assist in packaging baked goods for retail sale or catering orders, maintaining quality and presentation.
- Support food production activities, including mixing, assembling, and finishing products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage and handling practices are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy periods.
Requirements
- Experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry arts is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling safety regulations and proper hygiene practices.
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment used in food preparation.
- Previous experience in food production or catering environments is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills to engage with guests when needed.
