Position Summary
The Assembler is responsible for manufacturing fall protection equipment by assembling components and sub-assemblies into finished products in accordance with work orders, bills of materials, and product specifications. This position performs hands-on assembly of harnesses, lanyards, belts, and related products, verifies product quality throughout the assembly process, and supports the efficient flow of work through the production floor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble harnesses, lanyards, belts, and related fall protection products using work instructions and production specifications.
- Gather, organize, and verify materials and components required for production.
- Install hardware, labels, pads, buckles, D-rings, and other components into products and sub-assemblies.
- Inspect products during and after assembly to ensure quality and specification requirements are met.
- Maintain production output and assist in meeting daily and weekly production priorities.
- Accurately complete work order documentation and production records.
- Communicate material shortages, quality concerns, and production issues to supervisors.
- Maintain clean and organized workstations and follow all safety procedures.
- Assist with rework, special projects, and cross-functional production activities as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
