We are seeking an experienced CAD Technician to support site development and multi-discipline engineering projects. This role involves CAD production, design support, and collaboration with engineers throughout all project phases.
Responsibilities
- Create civil design drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D (grading, drainage, utilities, site layout)
- Analyze survey data and assist with design of sewer and storm systems
- Prepare plans, specifications, reports, and construction documents
- Perform quantity takeoffs and support cost estimating
- Participate in site visits, field measurements, and construction observations
- Coordinate with engineers, clients, and contractors
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Civil/Architectural Technology or equivalent experience
- 10 years of civil/site design experience
- Experience with engineering design using CAD
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred
- Experience with DoD, USACE, VA, DOT, or municipal projects

- Travel required (1–3 day trips within the U.S.)
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
