Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake procedures by collecting comprehensive medical histories and accurately recording vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature.

- Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient encounters thoroughly and efficiently while maintaining strict confidentiality standards.
- Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, explaining procedures clearly, and ensuring a comfortable experience during all interactions.
- Prior experience in clinic settings or hospital environments is highly preferred
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to ensure readiness for emergency situations.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medication for accurate documentation.
- Strong communication skills combined with the ability to multitask efficiently
Key ResponsibilitiesAdministrative Tasks
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Managing medical records and updating electronic health records (EHR), verifying patient information
Clinical Tasks
- Taking and recording patient vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, temperature)
- Preparing patients for examinations and assisting during procedures
- Collecting lab specimens and performing basic tests including phlebotomy, EKG, spirometry
- Qualifications and Skills Education and Certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a medical assistant program (certificate or degree preferred)
- Certification as a medical assistant (e.g., CMA) is preferredSkills
- Proficiency in medical terminology and EHR systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a patient-centered approach
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
