Position Overview
The Construction Foreman is responsible for the daily coordination and leadership of the job site. The Foreman Is Responsible For Four Primary Areas
- Communication
- Production
- Quality control
- Job-site safety
- Plan and communicate daily and weekly priorities.
- Coordinate employees, subcontractors, vendors, materials, and equipment.
- Confirm that adequate manpower and materials are available.
- Review plans and ensure work is completed accurately.
- Identify and communicate problems before they affect the schedule.
- Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and safe job site.
- Track materials, inventory, progress, and upcoming needs.
- Train and support apprentices and developing carpenters.
- Communicate professionally with clients, designers, and trade partners.
- Complete reports, photos, and updates through Buildertrend.
- At least three years of experience as a construction foreman or similar residential construction leader.
- Strong planning, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read plans and recognize quality workmanship.
- Ability to lay out walls, stairs, and rafters accurately.
- Strong math, measuring, and material-estimating skills.
- Comfortable leading employees and holding people accountable.
- Willingness to train and develop less-experienced team members.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- Take pride in the finished product.
- Plan ahead rather than reacting to emergencies.
- Communicate concerns early.
- Take ownership of mistakes and solutions.
- Treat clients, coworkers, and subcontractors with respect.
- Enjoy teaching and developing others.
- Want responsibility and are focused on results.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
