THE SPECIFICS

About the Position & What You Do

This is our Sales Director role. You are responsible for the performance, development, and growth of our entire sales team — a group of in-home estimators who meet with homeowners, run consultative sales appointments, and close painting projects.

For the first 3 months, you'll be in the field yourself — running estimates, learning our sales process inside and out, and earning the respect of your team the right way. After that, you step into full leadership mode.

Here's what you own:

  • Coaching and developing every sales rep to hit 50% close rates and maximize their revenue
  • Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new sales reps — with support from our Head of Recruiting until you're fully trained on our process
  • Getting new reps to 50% close rates within their first 2 months
  • Improving and systematizing our sales playbook — making what works more repeatable and fixing what doesn't
  • Leading our CSR's system, who handle our office line and set up estimates
  • Leveraging AI to improve follow-up, pipeline management, and how we coach our team

We provide you with all role-specific training, processes, and procedures… and never-ending personal development training to take you to the next level.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $90,000 – $110,000
  • Personal Commission: Standard rep commission rate during your first 3 months in the field
  • Performance Bonus: 20–25% of base, tied to team close rates and new rep ramp speed
  • Team Override: 1–2% of total team revenue above baseline — this is where your income scales with what you build
  • Income Expectations: Year 1 OTE $140,000 – $175,000. Uncapped upside as the team grows.
  • Benefits: Health Insurance (including vision/dental), Gas & Phone Stipend, Retirement Benefits (after 90 days)
  • Training & Development: We offer scholarships for pre-approved training and development programs. Our organization is committed to your success — with ongoing sales training, leadership calls, and team meetings that will help you grow as a leader in your professional and personal life.
