The All-New Elk Grove Chevrolet is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Parts Wholesale Outside Sales Representative. Embracing the latest in technology along with our training and outside the box thinking, this position will develop and maintain strong relationships with independent repair facilities, body shops, and other wholesale parts customers within a designated territory. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of marketing and presentations along with a general knowledge of automotive parts with a desire to learn more. You must have the ability to work with a variety of customers and help meet their needs along with a desire to achieve sales targets of your own. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the growth and profitability of our parts department.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and prospect new wholesale parts customers within the assigned territory through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other lead generation methods.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing wholesale accounts, acting as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our extensive inventory of OEM parts, including pricing, availability, and application.
- Process parts orders, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and handle any issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Track sales activities, prepare regular reports on sales performance, and provide accurate sales forecasts.
- Meet or exceed established monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Preferred minimum of 2 years of experience in outside sales, preferably within the automotive parts wholesale industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using various computer software; CRM and parts electronic leads and other sales tools a plus
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Ability to travel within the assigned territory on a regular basis.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
