The School of Business at Elizabethtown College invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor in Economics to begin in the Fall 2026 semester and to possibly continue into future semesters, depending on staffing needs. This position will teach two sections of Principles of Macroeconomics or Principles of Microeconomics.
We offer B.S. degrees in Accounting, Business Administration, International Business, Finance, Financial Economics, Marketing, as well as a B.A. in Economics. We provide students with cutting-edge business skills, a personalized learning experience, and strong ties with the business community. The candidate is expected to exemplify these values.
The School of Business is accredited by ACBSP Global and consists of 11 full-time faculty members and several industry professionals. We are located in the James B. Hoover Center for Business, a modern facility that features smart classrooms, a 95-seat lecture hall, collaborative spaces for networking, team building, and group study, as well as a finance lab equipped with 17 Bloomberg Terminals. Job Duties
Teach the following course(s): (In person)
Master’s degree in Business or Economics, or related field, and relevant corporate experience accepted.
Ph.D. is preferred.
Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate teaching excellence and a student-centric orientation. They are also expected to uphold the values of Elizabethtown College and have a demonstrated commitment to undergraduate liberal arts teaching.
