Our client, a leading Third-Party Administrator (TPA) in professional liability claims, is seeking an experienced Claims Attorney to manage complex professional liability matters. This fully remote role is ideal for attorneys with claims or litigation experience who enjoy analyzing policy language and making coverage determinations, conducting investigations, determining liability and exposures, and collaborating with counsel and clients to resolve claims.
Responsibilities:
Manage professional liability claims from first notice through resolution; Conduct investigations, review documents, and consult with experts; Analyze policy language and legal issues to determine coverage and liability; Draft coverage letters, status reports, and settlement recommendations; Collaborate with defense counsel, insureds, brokers, and other stakeholders; Maintain accurate reserves and detailed claim files.
Types of Claims:
Lawyers, accountants, and insurance professionals; Design and construction professionals, including architects and engineers; Allied health providers; Directors & Officers, Employment Practices, Financial and Real Estate Professionals.
Qualifications:
JD degree; 3 years’ experience in professional liability litigation or claims; Strong analytical, negotiation, writing, and communication skills; Knowledge of professional liability exposures across numerous industries.
