Overview:
You are an experienced licensed insurance agent that is bilingual. You enjoy talking on the phone in order to help existing trucking clients with their policies. You operate with a high degree of integrity and have excellent communication skills both verbal and written in both English and Spanish. Your style is natural and genuine. You are comfortable using a computer all day, so you are very computer literate and can type more than 40 WPM. You desire to be part of a team and want to be part of the solution and not the problem. Our independent insurance business has been established for over 18 years, our CEO has been in the insurance industry 27 years we are trusted, dependable, and valuable asset to the trucking industry with over 20 employees and multiple locations. Our success is based on the relationships we build within our Team, our clients, potential clients, our community and the companies we work with. We assist our clients with starting their business, processing permits, IRP registration, commercial insurance, financing and more. We also invest our time and money by helping charities both local and abroad. As an independent insurance agency, we work for our clients, not one insurance company.
Our hours are Monday through Friday either 7:30 – 4:30, 8:00 – 5:00 or 8:30 – 5:30, 9:00 – 6:00. You will be asked to work one Saturday per month and may be asked to work occasionally during an evening. We will train the right individual. We have two offices, one in Moreno Valley and one in Colton. We are hiring for both locations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must be computer literate, type quickly and accurately, we test for this.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills are required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and a calculator.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude
- Must be bilingual and write and speak in both English and Spanish.
- Must have an active Property & Casualty license in the state of California
- Must have at least 2 years of insurance experience
Wages and Compensation:
