Elizabeth’s In-Home Daycare
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Pay: $18/hour
Housing: $1,250/month
Included: Private bedroom & bathroom, utilities, breakfast & lunch during workdays
Elizabeth’s In-Home Daycare is seeking a dependable, caring, and energetic full-time live-in daycare provider. This position offers consistent full-time employment along with convenient on-site housing.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, nurturing, and attentive care for children
- Follow the daycare's established daily schedule and curriculum
- Lead learning activities including phonics, alphabet, numbers, early math, art, sensory activities, music, and creative play
- Supervise breakfast, lunch, snacks, nap/rest time, outdoor play, and transitions
- Assist with diaper changes, potty breaks, handwashing, and children's daily care needs
- Prepare and serve daycare meals and snacks as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment
- Use Brightwheel for attendance, parent communication, and daily updates
- Encourage social skills, teamwork, independence, and empathy
- Use positive, age-appropriate redirection
- Communicate professionally with parents and daycare staff
- Safely drive and transport children as required
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and ability to transport children
- Safe driving record
- Must pass required background checks
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it
- Food Handler certification or willingness to obtain it
- Complete required childcare training courses
- Dependable, punctual, patient, and organized
- Comfortable supervising multiple children
- Previous childcare, preschool, nanny, or daycare experience preferred
Live-In Housing
The live-in arrangement includes:
Private bedroom and bathroom
Utilities included
Breakfast and lunch included Monday–Friday during workdays
Monthly rent: $1,250
Housing will be covered by a separate rental/roommate agreement from the employment agreement.
We are looking for someone who will become a dependable part of Elizabeth’s In-Home Daycare and help create a warm, structured, educational, and fun environment for our children.
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
