Evening Supervisor LTC
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Evening Supervisor to join our team at Elizabeth Nursing & Rehab Center in Elizabeth, New Jersey. As an Evening Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of care and comfort for our residents while providing exceptional leadership to our nursing staff. Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff during evening hours to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services to residents
Develop and implement effective staffing schedules to meet the needs of the facility and ensure adequate coverage
Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident care and identify areas for improvement
Provide guidance and support to nursing staff to ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulations
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
Identify and address any issues or concerns that may arise during evening hours
Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and facility operations
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 years of experience in a long-term care setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on resident care and satisfaction
Strong understanding of long-term care regulations and standards, with the ability to ensure compliance
