Position Overview
We are seeking a Temporary Client Services Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for our firm during a high-demand season. This role provides front-desk support through client interaction, phone coverage, document handling, and general office upkeep. The right person brings reliability, attention to detail, and a calm, welcoming presence to the office each day.
This position is well suited for someone who can step in quickly, follow established processes, and provide steady support to the team.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records for clients
- Process journal entries and general ledger transactions and reconciliations
- Support tax preparation and planning with accurate data entry
- Communicate with clients regarding their bookkeeping needs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure client satisfaction
Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls, route calls appropriately, and respond to basic client questions
- Greet clients and maintain a welcoming, organized reception area
- Scan, file, and organize client documents accurately
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail
- Prepare and send outgoing mail and secure client materials
- Assist with scheduling and confirming client appointments
- Maintain cleanliness and supplies in the reception area and restroom
- Track office supply needs and notify the Office Manager when items need to be ordered
- Complete simple administrative tasks as assigned
- Support accountants and bookkeepers with document collection and routine client communication
