Senior Project Architect | Team Lead

High-End Luxury Residential Architecture


EHD is seeking a highly experienced, design-driven, and Licensed Architect with 7–10 years of proven experience in high-end luxury residential architecture. This role requires a strong leader with exceptional project management capabilities, technical expertise, and a refined design sensibility who can successfully lead projects while managing and mentoring a growing architectural team.

The ideal candidate is passionate about luxury residential design, thrives in a highly collaborative environment, and has a demonstrated track record managing projects through all phases of the architectural process—from concept and master planning through construction administration and final delivery. We are seeking someone who genuinely enjoys working collaboratively with clients, consultants, contractors, interior designers, and team members, and who understands that exceptional projects are achieved through strong communication and teamwork.


This position plays a critical leadership role within the firm and requires a professional who can successfully balance creativity, technical precision, budget management, timelines, client relationships, and team leadership.


Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the architectural team with a strong focus on accountability, professional growth, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Manage team workloads, staffing, and project assignments to ensure successful project delivery and balanced team performance.
  • Establish and maintain project workflows, team organization, and deliverable standards.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and design excellence.
  • Guide and mentor team members in technical development, design process, and project execution.

Project Oversight

  • Manage multiple luxury residential projects simultaneously through all phases of architecture and construction.
  • Oversee project schedules, timelines, budgets, and consultant coordination.
  • Ensure projects are executed at the highest level of quality, detail, and client experience.
  • Lead internal project reviews and maintain quality control standards across all deliverables.
  • Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, municipalities, and internal design teams.

Design & Technical Execution

  • Lead architectural design direction and technical development for custom luxury residential projects.
  • Produce and oversee comprehensive drawing sets, detailing, and construction documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting requirements.
  • Support innovative problem-solving while maintaining project feasibility, budget, and constructability.
  • Collaborate closely with interior design and procurement teams to maintain cohesive project execution.

Client & Consultant Relations

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Present design concepts, project updates, and technical solutions with professionalism and confidence.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with consultants, vendors, and contractors.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Licensed Architect required.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of professional experience in luxury residential architecture.
  • Proven experience managing custom high-end residential projects from concept through construction completion.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience required.
  • Exceptional organization, communication, and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and deliverables successfully.
  • High proficiency in architectural software platforms (Revit preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and detailing.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative design environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Portfolio Requirements

Candidates must submit a professional portfolio demonstrating:

  • High-end luxury residential project experience.
  • Design sensibility and architectural creativity.
  • Technical documentation and detailing capabilities.
  • Built work and completed project examples.
  • Leadership involvement and project management experience.
  • Experience across multiple phases of project execution.

Portfolios should clearly reflect both conceptual design strength and technical execution abilities.
