| Description of Work |
Provide up to 12 hours of individual college level percussion instruction per week, plus one group percussion class. The successful candidate will also work with other faculty as well as diverse community musicians and music groups to create a greater culture of alternative, popular, and commercial music styles within the music program and on campus. |
| Competencies/Knowledge Skills, and Abilities Required in this Position |
18 hours on the graduate level in percussion. (required) M.M. in Percussion -percussion performance with experience teaching at college level.(preferred) Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies. Must be committed to excellence in student learning and the ability to promote students' ability to succeed in a multicultural and global community. |
