What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook/Prep Cook position at Eliza Jennings Senior Care Network?
Devon Oaks Assisted Living in Westlake, an Eliza Jennings community and a nationally recognized leader in person-centered care, is searching for a full-time Cook.
Full-time position requires 3-shifts per week (12 hours), weekend availability and holidays on a rotating basis.
Specific duties of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Provide input to day-to-day menu planning and special events;
- Prepare meals according to planned menus and therapeutic diets;
- Cook a variety of fresh and nutritional recipes that meet residents dietary restrictions and food preferences; and
- Ensure working environment follows regulatory compliance.
One year of previous cooking experience is preferred.
Candidates must work well with others and enjoy interacting with seniors!
