Environmental Services Aide

Devon Oaks Assisted Living in Westlake is looking for someone to provide housekeeping to all areas of The Community assuring cleanliness, quality, and resident satisfaction. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

▪ Conduct daily walk through; assess and respond to immediate safety and sanitation needs.

▪ Perform various housekeeping duties for residents to assure clean and safe living environment.

▪ Address housekeeping complaints. Take corrective action.

▪ Interact with and assure resident safety and security; report any out of the ordinary resident behavior.

▪ Conduct trash rounds.

▪ Clean common areas, restrooms, laundry and break rooms, and entrance areas.

▪ Follow housekeeping/laundry department policies and procedures; assure compliance with all related federal, state and local regulations.

▪ Assure safety of self and co-workers.

▪ Participate in preparing for community surveys/inspections and addressing any deficiencies.

▪ Ensure a safe environment for residents and utilize tools and equipment in a safe manner.

▪ Report all hazardous conditions including incidents, injuries, and equipment to the appropriate Supervisor immediately. 

▪ Adhere to mission statement and all company policies including, but not limited to job description, HIPAA, Residents’ Rights, annual TB test, and education assignment completion. 

▪ Adapt to changes in responsibilities in a positive manner, be receptive to new ways of completing tasks, and flexible in carrying out assignments.
