This role will inherit and elevate everything from brand guidelines and landing pages to high-fidelity medical illustrations, motion graphics, and event assets. You’ll be the bridge between marketing, product, and clinical teams—turning complex science into visually arresting stories that drive growth.
Position Summary
Have the opportunity to own the end-to-end visual experience of ELIXIR MD, producing original illustrations, motion content, and design systems that scale across web, email, social, print, events, and in-product UI. This is both a hands-on creator role and a design-ops steward: you’ll get to execute high-impact assets while systematizing templates, file hygiene, and brand consistency so the team delivers faster with fewer revisions.
Key Responsibilities
- 30 % Illustration & Infographics • Create custom medical & product illustrations (Procreate/Illustrator) that simplify complex clinical concepts.
- 25 % Motion & Video Graphics • Animate product explainers, brand stories, and social reels (After Effects/Premiere).
- 20 % Web & Landing-Page Design • Build Figma wireframes → polished UI for minisites, client portals, and email/Salesforce modules.
- 15 % Brand Identity & Collateral • Maintain and evolve logos, style guides, business cards, event banners, booth graphics.
- 10 % Design Ops & Templates • Develop a living design-system file, template library, and SOPs; keep the cloud file-system organized and searchable.
Qualifications
- 1 – 6 years professional experience in brand, illustration, or motion design (agency or high-volume in-house team a plus).
- Portfolio should include:
- Anatomically accurate or technical illustration
- Motion graphics / short-form video
- Responsive landing-page or product UI work
- Expert-level proficiency in:
- Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro
- Procreate (illustration)
- Figma (layout, component systems)
- Strong grasp of UX best practices, basic HTML/CSS hand-off, and accessibility.
- Proven ability to translate complex science into clear, persuasive visuals.
- Meticulous file hygiene, version control, and naming conventions.
- Excellent communicator—able to defend design rationale to surgeons, marketers, and engineers.
Bonus Points
- Medical or scientific-illustration background.
- Experience with the aesthetic / luxury healthcare market.
- Storyboarding, light 3-D (Blender, Cinema 4D) or AR prototyping.
- Photography skills for on-site content capture and BTS shoots.
