Industrial Maintenance Technician - DAY SHIFT

Our ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades, with in-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures, hydraulic systems, and basic tools and appliances.

To excel in this position, you must be a problem-solver with a great attitude.

• Must be able to be at work in Douglas, GA at 3:45am to 5:00 pm.
• Mechanical troubleshooting experience - 2-3 yrs. in a production environment.
• Troubleshooting electrical systems from 24 volts dc to 480 volts ac.(prefer 2 yrs. in a manufacturing environment, but not required.)
• · PLC experience preferred.
• · Hydraulic pumps and valves.
• · Pneumatic systems.
• · Welding and cutting.
• · Must have the ability to work overtime and some Saturday work.
• · Must have good attendance record.
• · Self-motivated.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Inspect machinery and finished products to ensure the machine functionality and repair if necessary.
• Perform weekly, monthly and quarterly pm maintenance on various machinery.
• Catch calls throughout the day and be able to prioritize in order of importance to production.
• Open the plant and ensure the air compressor and hydraulic units come online and are ready to run.
• Complete written work orders and report the parts used and any parts needed.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems and communicate them to the supervisor.
• Willing to go to a robotic training course and aluminum welding training.

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• 2 yr. technical training preferred, will accept 2 yrs. verifiable on the job experience in lue of technical training.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
• Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, and evenings.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be well- organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
