Our client, a leading federal defense contractor has an immediate 3-6 contract-to-hire opportunity in Canonsburg, PA for a Jr-Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to analyze and design of AC-DC and DC-DC power systems and power control.
The position is 100% Onsite in Canonsburg, PA.
Day to Day Responsibilities :
Integrate, test, troubleshoot, and verify electrical hardware
Verifying designs / redesigns
HW debugging and verification
Work with test equipment
Schematic capture and updates
Other EE tasks as needed.
Drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design
Research & Development experience including concept, design, modeling, prototyping, and testing
Stay ahead of technology trends, with background in test, troubleshooting, and development of circuit card schematics
Required Skills
Must be US Citizen due to government requirement
Must be able and willing to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
Requires a Bachelor-s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 2 years of job-related experience or a Master's degree.
Proficient using electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed Signal circuit analysis / design
Experience in application of electrical engineering processes, concepts, principles, and theories
Creative thinker committed to staying ahead of technology trends, with strong background in test and troubleshooting
