Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, carpets, windows, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and techniques such as buffing and floor care equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of all facility surfaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting high-touch areas regularly.
• Handle industrial cleaning tasks including waste removal, floor stripping, sealing, and polishing to uphold safety standards and aesthetic appeal.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report issues promptly.
• Assist with custodial duties related to residential painting or light repairs when necessary to support overall facility upkeep.
• Operate janitorial equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to health and safety protocols.
• Support facilities maintenance activities by performing minor repairs or coordinating with specialized technicians as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and general sanitation procedures.
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers or buffers is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Basic understanding of facilities maintenance tasks; experience with residential painting or porter duties is a plus.
• Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow instructions independently while working efficiently within a team. Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
