Role Description
This is a contract role for a Radiation Therapist-Oncology located on-site in Fresno, CA. with a start date in early November 2025 The Radiation Therapist-Oncology will be responsible for administering radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by an oncologist. Work closely with a highly collaborative team who delivers advanced care to our patients, this includes an Accuray CyberKnife unit, Varian TrueBeam, two Elekta Infinities, and a High Dose Rate (HDR) suite.
Day-to-day tasks include operating radiation equipment, ensuring radiation safety, calculating dosimetry, and working closely with medical teams to provide optimal patient care. The role requires adherence to strict safety protocols and delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing radiation treatment.
Qualifications
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (Must have CA certification)
- Work closely with a highly collaborative team who delivers advanced care to our patients, this includes an Accuray CyberKnife unit, Varian TrueBeam, two Elekta Infinities, and a High Dose Rate (HDR) suite.
- Experience in administering Radiation therapy and working with radiation machinery
- Strong understanding of Medicine, particularly in oncology settings
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work diligently in an on-site clinical environment
