Warehouse General Laborer

OverviewElite WC Logistics is seeking a lumper/unloader to provide contract-based warehouse support services. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity ideal for a safety-conscious professional with experience in warehouse logistics and utilizing core skills in materials handling to unload and move various goods efficiently. Must have at least 1 year of experience unloading.Compensation: Approx. $900 weekly (depending on production) | Paid weekly via 1099Schedule:Day ShiftDutiesLoad and unload shipments manually or pallet jacks, ensuring safe handling of materials.Utilizing equipment such as RF scanners to facilitate order picking and inventory management.Use warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records accurately.Follow OSHA safety guidelines and mechanical knowledge to maintain a safe work environment.Perform heavy lifting tasks and materials handling with proper techniques to prevent injury.Support warehouse operations by organizing materials, stacking pallets, and ensuring efficient space utilization.Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate loading/unloading schedules and ensure timely deliveries.ExperiencePrevious experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or construction environments preferred.Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanners is highly desirable.Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and mechanical systems related to warehouse operations.Experience with order picking, load & unload procedures, and materials handling is a plus.Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment in accordance with OSHA standards.
