General IT Support Technician
Overview
We are looking for a dependable General IT Support Technician with hands-on experience supporting end users, troubleshooting IT systems, and working with networking and camera/VMS platforms. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and comfort supporting clients remotely and on-site.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues including desktops, cameras, switches, routers, and mobile apps
Respond to client support requests via phone and email in a timely manner
Remotely access client servers to diagnose and support VMS systems
Identify and resolve network-related camera and connectivity issues
Provide clear, professional technical support to non-technical users
Document issues and resolutions as needed
Required Qualifications
1–2 years of help desk or end-user IT support experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Basic–Intermediate networking knowledge, including:
Routers, switches, firewalls, WAN/LAN, port forwarding
Basic–Intermediate experience with camera/VMS systems, such as:
Milestone, Axis VMS, HikVision, Provision, or similar
Basic–Intermediate Windows OS troubleshooting
Experience using remote access tools:
TeamViewer, AnyDesk, RustDesk
Preferred Experience
Security or surveillance system support
MSP or service-based IT environment experience
Networking or low-voltage background
