Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Veterinary Technician located in Orlando, FL. The Veterinary Technician will assist veterinarians by providing support in animal care, administering treatments, preparing pets for procedures, and handling anesthesiology duties. Additionally, the role involves educating clients on pet care and treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and maintaining a clean and organized working environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Animal Care and Pet Care, including managing the health and well-being of animals
- Hands-on experience in Veterinary Technology, including conducting medical procedures, administering medications, and utilizing medical equipment
- Skills in Anesthesiology and monitoring patient vitals during procedures
- Strong abilities in Client Education, including communicating treatment plans, post-procedure care, and providing guidance to pet owners
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Credentialed Veterinary Technician (RVT, CVT, LVT) or equivalent is strongly preferred
- Previous experience in veterinary ophthalmology is a plus but not required
