Elite Tutoring Center, LLC is immediately seeking a patient, dependable, and self-motivated Part-Time Math Tutor who has a heart for helping students succeed!
We are looking for someone who can confidently work with K–8 students in a small-group setting after school and provide the encouragement, structure, and academic support students need to grow.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching or instructional experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university OR currently working toward a degree
- College students with strong math skills are encouraged to apply!
- Knowledge of Eureka Math and K–8 math concepts
- Organized, patient, dependable, and able to multitask
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Punctuality and reliability are a MUST
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist students with homework, class assignments, projects, and test preparation
- Provide targeted math instruction based on each student’s classroom needs
- Teach study strategies, note-taking skills, and test-taking techniques
- Create supplemental practice materials and study guides when needed
- Help students strengthen foundational math skills and close academic gaps
- Create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence
