Job Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - to join our dedicated team. Duties
- Develop, implement, and oversee behavioral therapy programs tailored to each patient's needs, emphasizing applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques.
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment strategies.
- Supervise and mentor behavior technicians and clinical staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical standards.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to patient progress, maintaining accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Coordinate intake procedures for new patients, including initial evaluations and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to support behavioral health goals and facilitate effective communication.
- Ensure all clinical activities meet regulatory standards and organizational policies while maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Provide ongoing training for staff on special education, behavioral health, and relevant medical terminology to enhance service quality.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with current certification status.
- Proven experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum.
- Strong background in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and patient care practices.
- Experience conducting patient assessments, managing data collection systems, and maintaining detailed medical documentation.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation, behavioral health, and working within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals.
