Candidates must reside locally to Maryland, Washington DC or Virginia. the position is mostly remote but does require working onsite in Reston VA roughly one per month, maybe more, maybe less. The client is no open to candidates willing to relocate.
Our direct client is seeking a Software Engineer for a longterm consiulting engagement.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS- AWS Certified Developer certification AND a CKE or CKAD certification.
A final face to face interview in Reston VA is required.
Compensation- $ 79.00 per hour W2, $ 95.00 per hour C2C.
BS Degree. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
Required Certifications (x2): AWS Certified Developer AND CKE or CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Administrator OR Application Developer)
8 years of Software Development experience
Hands-on experience supporting an AWS Cloud
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
Must have PostgreSQL
Frontend: Angular 16 , CSS, HTML, React
Backend: Spring Boot framework, Java (v21 is preferred) development experience with ability to develop unit / integration test cases using Junit /TestNg.
Must have ability to understand and work with code developed by other developers.
Must have extensive experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (in English).
Good to have experience working with API Management Tools.
Good to have Experience working with GIT/BitBucket.
