Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Pergola Installation Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will install high-quality pergolas and outdoor shade structures at residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate, should have some experience in construction , enjoys working with their hands and outdoors, takes pride in craftsmanship, and is comfortable traveling to job sites.
Responsibilities
- Install pergolas, patio covers, and outdoor living structures according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
- Read and interpret installation drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
- Safely use power tools, hand tools, ladders, and other installation equipment.
- Load, unload, and organize materials for each project.
- Maintain a clean and professional job site.
- Communicate professionally with customers while on-site.
- Troubleshoot installation issues and make adjustments as needed.
- Complete installation paperwork, photos, and project documentation.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
- Work closely with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
Qualifications
- Construction, carpentry, fencing, patio cover, or outdoor structure installation experience preferred.
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent work ethic and reliability.
Job Expectations
Successful candidates will:
- Travel to installation sites throughout the assigned service area, including occasional overnight travel when required.
- Drive a company-provided service vehicle safely and responsibly while following all traffic laws and company vehicle policies.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and inventory of the assigned company vehicle.
- Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled installations.
- Represent the company professionally through appearance, communication, and customer service.
- Work a flexible schedule when projects require extended hours or travel.
- Safely handle heavy materials and equipment.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a team-oriented work environment.
- Pass background and motor vehicle record checks, is required.
Preferred Skills
- Carpentry or framing experience
- Metal fabrication or aluminum structure installation
- Concrete anchoring and fastening experience
- Ability to read construction plans
- Ability to operate power tools, such, skill saws, drill, grinders, saw-saw, and more.

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
