The Opportunity:
We are seeking full-time Associate Attorneys with a strong background in insurance defense litigation to join thriving offices in Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, or Tampa. This is a fully on-site position requiring a Florida Bar license and at least 2 years of relevant litigation experience. Candidates with construction defect litigation experience are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a diverse caseload including construction defects, bodily injury, and general liability.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Conduct discovery, depositions, and appear at court hearings.
- Collaborate with partners and clients to develop legal strategies and drive case results.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active Florida Bar license required.
- Minimum 2 yearsβ experience in insurance defense litigation.
- Preferred: Experience with construction defect cases.
- Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
- Proven ability to manage cases independently in a high-volume environment.
