Associate Attorney – Insurance Defense Litigation

📍 Locations: Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, or Tampa, FL (On-Site, 5 Days/Week)

The Opportunity:

We are seeking full-time Associate Attorneys with a strong background in insurance defense litigation to join thriving offices in Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, or Tampa. This is a fully on-site position requiring a Florida Bar license and at least 2 years of relevant litigation experience. Candidates with construction defect litigation experience are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a diverse caseload including construction defects, bodily injury, and general liability.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct discovery, depositions, and appear at court hearings.
• Collaborate with partners and clients to develop legal strategies and drive case results.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active Florida Bar license required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Preferred: Experience with construction defect cases.
• Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
• Proven ability to manage cases independently in a high-volume environment.
