Elite Surface Infrastructure (ESI) is a growing company located in Englewood Colorado and has been working along the Colorado front range since 1998. ESI is one of the largest construction companies in Colorado that self-performs a variety of services including Underground Utilities, Milling, Asphalt, Paving, Grading, Concrete, and Earthwork for Infrastructure and Infrastructure Improvement Projects in the commercial, municipal, and federal sectors.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Accounting Manager is responsible for
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Ensure the accounting team consistently hits deadlines: weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually
- Notify Controller promptly if issues or concerns arise with respect to deadlines
- Continues to grow with the company and helps to improve future processes and procedures.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Technical Skills:
- Accounting Software Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of accounting software and systems is essential. This includes experience running calculations, managing, and generating reports. Vista experience is a plus.
- Accounting and Tax Knowledge: A solid understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and liabilities/deductions (federal, state, and local) is crucial.
- Data Management and Analysis: Ability to manage and analyze large datasets of Job information, including

- Attention to Detail and Accuracy: Accounting is detail oriented. You'll need a keen eye to catch errors and ensure all calculations and deductions are precise.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Inevitably, issues can arise during business hours. Excellent problem-solving skills are needed to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Clear and concise communication is essential for interacting with employees, accounting department, and management.
