Role Description
The Bilingual Safety Specialist will play a critical role in managing workplace safety, ensuring compliance, and promoting a safe culture. This contract position is based on-site in Miami, FL. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting safety audits, facilitating safety training, performing accident investigations, and ensuring occupational health standards are maintained. This role also involves delivering education in both English and Spanish to foster a comprehensive understanding of workplace safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in Health & Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) practices
- Strong skills in Safety Training development and delivery
- Proficiency in conducting thorough Accident Investigations
- Excellent bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and individuals
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in workplace safety
- Experience in safety consultation or contractor roles is preferred
- Certifications such as OSHA 30, CHST, or equivalent are a plus
