What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Analyst Non Exempt position at Elite Supply Partners Inc.?
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION DUTIES:
The Project Analyst will be charged with the negotiating, expediting, and quoting of goods required to meet multiple sites. Quoting will be done by reviewing inquiries and responding by a combination of the Discovery operating platform and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Maintain both electronic and verbal communications with branch personnel and suppliers
- Monitor quoting process and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Create and modify quotes in Discovery and Excel
- Set up 3rd party pricing in Excel spreadsheets
- Build relationships with both internal and external customers
- Be available for off-hour, weekend, and Holiday coverage on an as-needed basis
- Be available for limited travel with possible overnight stays
- Coordinate and manage bid process
- Communicate with Credit Department on large Quotes and Inquiries
- Communicate with Managers, Sales, and Customers
- Source material/Purchasing
Consult with VP-Operations or President on large quotes
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS (Training, Technical Skills, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Competent negotiation skills
- Computer literacy and spreadsheet capabilities (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience dealing with customers
